Kleinzee – The Director for Community Services at Nama Khoi Local Municipality, Ms. Refilwe Sebela, paid a visit to the Kleinzee landfill site on Thursday, 14 August, as part of the department’s ongoing oversight programme.
The visit formed part of the municipality’s commitment to monitoring service delivery points and ensuring that facilities meet operational and environmental compliance standards.
During her inspection, Ms. Sebela expressed her satisfaction with the overall condition of the site and praised the dedication of officials responsible for its upkeep. She noted that the landfill was being managed with efficiency, care, and attention to detail — reflecting a strong commitment to delivering quality services to the Kleinzee community.
“I am impressed by the high standards of work being carried out here,” Sebela said. “The team’s diligence ensures that Kleinzee residents benefit from a clean and well-maintained facility, which is an important component of our broader environmental and waste management strategy.”
